Vatican condemns reports of intrigue and corruption - FRANCE 24
Vatican condemns reports of intrigue and corruption - FRANCE 24: The Vatican on Saturday condemned Italian media reports of intrigue, corruption and blackmail among senior prelates, saying these could be a form of pressure to sway voting in next month's conclave to elect Pope Benedict XVI's successor.
Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi dismissed as "gossip, disinformation and sometimes calumny" the reports, which are linked to an investigation by a committee of cardinals last year over a series of damaging leaks of confidential papal documents.

Jason Korbus: Habemus Malum Papam | Fortean Squirrel
Jason Korbus on the likely Pope candidates: Habemus Malum Papam | Fortean Squirrel. Doesn't look promising for those of us, Catholics (which I am not) and non-Catholics alike who support women's rights, as well as LGBT rights and expect the pedophiles to be held accountable.
"The Cleansing" :Iran confiscates Buddha statues from shops - Yahoo! News
Iran confiscates Buddha statues from shops - Yahoo! News: TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Buddha statues have joined Barbie dolls and characters from "The Simpsons" TV cartoon as banned items in the conservative Muslim nation.
Authorities are confiscating Buddha statues from shops in the Iranian capital, Tehran, to stop the promotion of Buddhism in the country, according to a report Sunday in the independent Arman daily.
Iran has long fought against items, such as Barbie toys, to defuse Western influence, but this appears to be the first time that Iranian authorities are showing an opposition to symbols from the East.
The newspaper quoted Saeed Jaberi Ansari, an official for the protection of Iran's cultural heritage, as calling the Buddha statues symbols of "cultural invasion." He said authorities will not permit a specific belief to be promoted through such items. Ansari did not say how many Buddhas had been seized, but that the "cleansing" would continue.

Pope Resigns Aftermath Watch
Crime, scandal, lies, conspiracy, and more, all of which is obvious. The Mail Online gives us this:
Was the Pope pushed? An abuse scandal, corruption and the dark intrigue behind Benedict's shock resignation | Mail Online: The Pope’s departure also comes at a time of scrutiny over the Vatican’s alleged links to the world of organised crime.
Last summer saw the scandalous trial of Paolo Gabriele, his butler, who was sentenced to 18 months in prison for stealing confidential documents from his master’s desk and passing them to a journalist.
The papers were given to Gianluigi Nuzzi, a reporter whose ‘Vatileaks’ scoop alleged corruption at the Vatican Bank, including the laundering of 160 million on behalf of the Mafia.
In the wake of Nuzzi’s revelations, the bank’s president was forced to resign. A replacement is due to be announced in the coming months.

John Galliano Outfit Shocks Jewish Community | Style Crush - Yahoo! Shine: Other than his attendance at Kate Moss' 2011 wedding and a stint in rehab for alcoholism, we haven't seen or heard much of him since the scandal. But on Tuesday night, Galliano was photographed leaving a building in New York dressed as a Hasidic Jewish man—long jacket, hat, and curly side locks—on his way to Oscar de la Renta's Fashion Week show for which he collaborated on. And according to the New York Post, Jewish community leaders were offended.
"...and a stint in rehab for alcoholism..." ya think?

Earthquakes and the Pope: Trickster Theater
The world shared a global shudder of anxiety at the news that North
Korea's earthquake yesterday was no "earthquake" but an earthquake due
to a "nuclear test."
Checking the U.S. government's earthquake site, which I do several times a day, I see that Tonopah Nevada and surrounding area has had four earthquakes today. The largest being 5.1. That seemed very odd to me, so I Googled Tonopah, Nevada, to find that the area is a test range:
And to really go down the rabbit hole, while I don't seriously think there is a connection between the above and the Pope's resignation, that last news item is a biggie. The Trickster Theater has been very busy these past few days!

Tonopah, Nevada carries a legacy of being the home to the nation’s development and testing of smart bombs extending back to World War II where it was noted for its bomber bases. Follow the links to learn more about Tonopah’s role in our nation’s wars. Not a coincidence.

Pope Benedict XVI Resigns
This is astounding news from the Vatican. Pope Benedict XVI resigned. Citing "age and poor health" as the reasons for his decision, but I don't believe that excuse for a minute. I sense layers upon layers of conspiracy here. Some of which has to do with Paolo Gabriele, the Pope's butler, who stole documents and leaked information about "financial misdeeds within the Vatican." Not to mention the global and rampant child sexual abuse covered up by the Vatican. Who Will Be Next Pope After Pope Benedict XVI's Resignation?
